Charles Thomas Slaughter

Chuck is a partner and founding member of Morgan, Slaughter & Haltiwanger, LLC. Since graduating law school, he has dedicated his practice to representing individuals and families in serious and complex personal injury cases where corporate and/or individual negligence has resulted in significant injuries or death. Chuck is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and Georgia, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The primary focus of his practice is burn injury litigation involving catastrophic burn injuries or death as a result of propane and natural gas fires and explosions, defective products, exposure to hazardous chemicals or electricity, scald burns due to improperly set water heaters, and other causes. Chuck also handles cases involving automobile and motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, defective products, industrial accidents, dog bites and premises liability (slip-and-fall).

Chuck is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, the Lexington County Bar, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Association for Justice and the South Carolina Association for Justice.
